Morgan was one of the actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women that focuses on AIDS prevention as well as education. The proceeds from the film were given to American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the driving force in many fundraising campaigns to fight this disease. Morgan also gave a speech to a Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar's Board of Directors. She has been asked to fill in for the Surgeon General who was formerly C. Everett Koop at related events involving AIDS. Steve Bell, a news anchor, has also presented an AIDS Awareness Special. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for the Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. She then started the summer by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It also starred Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. The next part of her film took her to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the roles of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also in the show. Morgan was also the sole actor in the thriller on USA Network's psychological suspense that earned some of the highest ratings that this network's recorded.
